British wines are riding on the crest of sparkling wine wave In 2017 there were 1 million vines planted in the UK In 2019 the number has reached an astonishing 3 million Production leapt from 4.2 million bottles produced in 2016 to a whopping 13.2 million in 2018.   And this stuff is bloody good!! It is the fashionable glass of fizz to be seen with in the bars of LA and New York. Is there any stopping this phenomenon??
