It even came close to cancellation numerous times, but ultimately critical acclaim and word of mouth helped build the legend of Walter White – the dying science teacher turned drug dealer so perfectly portrayed by Bryan Cranston. A truly bingeworthy series full of twists and turns, Breaking Bad is one of the highlights of the Golden Age of US television, and one that also helped established the dominance of Netflix.
